Description

These are four stemmed wine glasses in clear, 100% recycled glass, with a softly hammered surface that catches the light as the glass turns in the hand. Each one stands 17.5cm tall and measures 6cm across, with a tall, narrow bowl that flares gently at the rim, a slender stem and a round foot. They hold 125ml, the small measure of wine in a British pub or restaurant, so they suit a modest pour of white, rosé or sparkling wine rather than a generous glass of red.

A tall, narrow bowl helps sparkling wine hold its bubbles, and these glasses look right on a celebration table, but there is no need to save them for toasts. We like them set out at a small dining table for a weekend lunch, brought out for a dessert wine after dinner, or filled with a short pour of elderflower pressé for guests who are driving.
