Description

This black candle holder is made from mango wood with a little iron, 95% mango and 5% iron by composition, and it stands 26cm tall and 8cm across. Its outline is what you notice first: a tall cone forms the base, three flat rings stack one over another at the waist, and a smaller cone opens out at the top to take a taper candle. The grain of the mango wood stays visible through the black, so it still looks like wood. It weighs 0.44KG, light enough to carry from one room to another whenever needed.

At 26cm tall it gives a taper candle real height, which suits a mantelpiece, a sideboard, a console table in the hallway or the centre of a dining table.
