Description

Arena is a very large ring pendant light: a slim white ring 194cm across, with a section just 5.3cm deep, hung on fine wires from a round canopy 32.5cm across. A line of light runs around the inside of the ring, and small spot heads sit along it, giving a 30° beam that throws focused light downwards. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. With a CRI of 90, food, fabrics and skin tones look natural beneath it. We offer it in 2700K or 3000K, so you choose a warmer or a slightly crisper white when you order.

At 194cm across, this is a pendant for a generous room. Over a long dining table it draws a wide ring of light, with the spots placing brighter pools where people sit and eat. In a large living room it hangs over the main seating area and gives the whole space a clear centre. It hangs on a drop of up to 500cm, so it works under high ceilings as well as lower ones, and the ring can sit at a height that suits the table or the room. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The ring is finished in white, which keeps it light against a pale ceiling, so even at this size it reads as a fine line rather than a heavy shape. Arena runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It is dimmable by DALI or push dimming, so you can bring it down for a quiet supper and up again when the table is full. Before you order, measure the room: allow for a ring 194cm across with space around it, and a canopy 32.5cm across on the ceiling.
