Description

Arena is a ring pendant light on a grand scale: a slim circle 194cm across, with a section just 5.3cm tall, finished in Brushed Titanium. Two kinds of light share the one fitting. A continuous line of light runs around the underside of the ring, and small spot heads set around it point downwards. Its beam angle is 30°. The light source is integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change, and it gives 12598lm with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking true. We sell it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K, so you can choose the warmer white or the slightly crisper one.

At this size, Arena belongs in a large dining room or living room, where it can frame a long dining table or mark out a seating area in an open plan space. It hangs from a ceiling canopy 32.5cm across on fine suspension wires, with a drop of up to 500cm, so it suits a tall or double-height ceiling as well as a more usual one. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It is dimmable by DALI or push, which lets you bring it down for a quiet evening and up again when you want working light at the table.

The ring is one continuous circle in Brushed Titanium, a brushed finish with a soft grey colour and a warm champagne tone that sits quietly with wood, stone or painted walls, and the spot heads match it. It runs on mains power at 230V and is wired in by an electrician, so it needs a qualified electrician to install it. Before you order, plan the position with them and allow for the full 194cm diameter when you measure the room, so the ring sits comfortably over the table or seating beneath it.
