The Antique Bronze Cubist Figurine is a 35.9cm-tall polyresin sculpture built from three overlapping hexagonal frames finished in textured antique bronze, mounted on a matt black rectangular base. The frames interlock at different angles, creating a geometric composition that shifts in appearance depending on viewing position. The open framework design leaves negative space visible through the centre, giving the piece depth without bulk.

Designed as a decorative accent for shelves, mantels, side tables and console surfaces in living rooms, hallways and studies, the figurine pairs well with both contemporary and traditional interior schemes. The 29.2cm width and 10.7cm depth mean it fits comfortably on most shelving units without overhang, while the 1.63kg weight gives it stability on surfaces without needing additional fixing. Polyresin is a moulded composite material made from resin and stone powder. It allows fine surface detail and texture to be captured during casting, then finished by hand. It is lighter than cast metal or solid stone but more durable than plaster.

Does the finish vary between pieces?

Yes. The antique bronze finish is applied by hand, so slight tonal variation and patina differences occur between individual pieces. This is normal for hand-finished decorative items and adds character rather than being a defect.

How is it cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable but avoid soaking the base. Do not use household sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the hand-applied finish.
