Description
We stock the Antic in satin gold as a single-light glass pendant for over a table or island. A fluted amber glass dome sits above a cylindrical ribbed glass stem, joined by a spherical satin gold collar, and it takes one E27 bulb up to 60W (not included) so you can pick the output you want. The ribbed amber glass softens and diffuses the light while the texture catches it from different angles, giving a warm golden glow rather than a harsh point of light.
This pendant suits dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands where you want both decorative and ambient light. It hangs from a satin gold canopy on a fabric-covered suspension cable, and a warm white 2700K bulb suits the amber glass best, spreading light broadly over a 1.2 to 1.5m dining table or a 1m run of worktop. The amber tint and satin gold metalwork pair well with brass, bronze and copper tones, and work across traditional, mid-century and warm contemporary rooms.
The Antic is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor locations only and not for bathrooms or covered outdoor use. The single E27 lampholder accepts standard screw-cap bulbs up to 60W, and because no bulb is supplied you can choose a warm 2700K lamp to match the amber glass. The combined glass dome and stem give the fitting some visual weight without overwhelming smaller dining spaces or lower ceilings.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take and is one included?
It takes a single E27 screw-cap bulb up to 60W, and no bulb is included. We suggest a warm white 2700K lamp, which suits the amber glass and gives the soft golden glow the fitting is designed for.
Is it dimmable?
The pendant itself has no built-in dimming, but you can dim it by fitting a dimmable E27 bulb and pairing it with a compatible dimmer switch (both sold separately), letting you set it from full brightness down to a soft glow for dining.
Can I use this in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor locations only. Keep it to rooms like dining areas, kitchens and hallways rather than bathrooms or covered outdoor spaces.
How does it differ from the other Antic pendants?
This is the single-light version with an amber glass dome and stem. We also stock smoke and opal glass finishes, plus four-light versions of each, if you want a different tint or more light over a larger table.
