Description

Anneli is a pair of candle holders made entirely of travertine, a natural stone laid down by mineral springs and known for the small pits and open pores across its surface. Each holder rises from a wide base into a narrowing neck, finished with a round collar that holds the candle. Both are 5cm across, but one stands 7.5cm tall and the other 10cm tall, so the pair sits at two heights rather than in a matched row. The stone is a warm brown, and because travertine is natural, the veining and pitting differ from piece to piece, so no two holders are marked alike.

These are made for the places where candlelight earns its keep: a dining table, a mantelpiece, a sideboard in the hall or a deep windowsill on a winter evening.
