Description

We stock the Ambience 600mm as a flat disc LED pendant light for over a larger table or kitchen island. A slim disc diffuser hangs on twin cables between two matt black metal bars, with an integrated 30W LED inside giving 1400 lumens of warm white (3000K) light through the diffuser in a wide 120 degree spread.

It suits dining rooms, kitchen islands and hospitality spaces with ceiling heights above 2.4m, where the long disc lines up neatly over a rectangular table or worktop. Because the light comes from one integrated panel rather than separate bulbs, you get even task lighting without the clutter of multiple fittings, and the matt black metal frame keeps the look plain and modern.

The cable drop is adjustable at installation, so you can set the hanging height to suit your room. The LED is dimmable on a compatible LED dimmer (sold separately), draws 30W, and has an 80 CRI rating that reads colour accurately for living and dining areas. It runs on 220-240V 50Hz mains and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use, so it should be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 30W LED dims on a compatible LED dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow over dinner. It is worth checking the dimmer model with your electrician before you buy.

How big is this pendant and how does it differ from the smaller Ambience?

This is the 600mm disc, made for larger tables and kitchen islands. We also stock a 420mm version in the same range and finish for narrower or smaller spaces, so you can match the disc to the surface below it.

Which rooms does it suit?

It works best over a dining table, kitchen island or in a hospitality space with a ceiling above 2.4m. The IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoors.

Do I need a separate bulb?

No. The LED is built into the disc, giving 1400 lumens of warm white 3000K light, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. We would ask a qualified electrician to wire it in to the 220-240V mains.
