Description

The Adamas pendant light is a compact Smoke Grey glass shade with a softly rounded, barrel-like form, 23cm tall and 22.5cm across. The upper half is cut into a honeycomb pattern of facets, while the lower half is smooth and clear, so the light shows through the tint. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 11W and gives 746lm of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, wood and skin tones looking true. It comes in a choice of Matt Black or Brushed Brass finish.

At 22.5cm across, the Adamas is sized for a dining table: one pendant over a small round table, or several in a line over a longer one, gives a low, intimate light where you eat. It works just as well in a living room, hung over a side table or a reading corner beside the sofa. It hangs on a drop of up to 200cm, so it can sit low over a table or higher under a tall ceiling. The canopy is slim, 6.5cm across and 16.7cm tall. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, which suits both of these rooms well.

The Smoke Grey glass pairs with either finish: choose Matt Black for a crisp, dark line against a pale ceiling, or Brushed Brass for a warmer partner to the grey tint, and the honeycomb facets give the shade texture by day, even with the light off. The light is dimmable by DALI or push, so it can join a DALI control system or dim from a compatible push switch; your electrician can advise which suits your home.
