Description

The Adamas is a pink glass LED pendant light with a softly rounded shade, 33cm tall and 23.6cm across. Its upper half carries a honeycomb pattern of small facets, while the lower half is smooth and glossy, so the shade has two quite different surfaces. Inside is an integrated LED of 11W giving 746 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, so there is no bulb to buy or change. A CRI of 90 means food, faces and fabrics keep their true colours under it.

We see it first in a dining room, hung over a small table on its own or in a line above a longer one, where the pink glass adds warmth to the table without overpowering it. It works just as well in a living room, over a side table or a reading chair, or in a corner that needs a soft glow in the evening. It dims by DALI or by push control, so you can lower it once dinner is over. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The Adamas comes in two finishes, matt black or brushed brass: choose matt black for a crisp contrast with the pink glass, or brushed brass for a warmer, softer pairing. The canopy is 6.5cm across and 16.7cm tall, slim enough to sit neatly on the ceiling. The light runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Before you order, measure from your ceiling to the tabletop, so you know where you want the shade to hang within its maximum drop of 200cm. Our photographs show the matt black version.
