This is the familiar rounded household bulb, the GLS shape, on a B22 bayonet cap: the push-and-twist fitting that most British ceiling roses, pendant sets and table lamps are wired for. It draws 8.5W and returns 806 lumens, which the retail pack rates as the equal of an old 60W incandescent bulb. The tone is warm white at 2700K, the yellow leaning light people associate with filament lamps rather than the cooler white of an office. Each bulb measures 60mm across and 101mm from cap to crown, and they arrive boxed in twos.

806 lumens is the general purpose brightness for a home, bright enough to light a living room from a central pendant and soft enough for a bedside lamp. At 2700K it flatters warm paint, wood, brass and natural fabrics, and it matches the warm white bulbs most houses already run; mixing 2700K with a cooler 4000K bulb in the same room is what makes lighting look patchy.
