Description

The 432 Ways Street Cylinder Track Ceiling Light is a slim white cylinder made to fit a 48V track. It is 11cm tall and 6cm across, small enough to sit neatly beneath the track without crowding the ceiling. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 6.7W gives 773 lumens through a 29° beam, focused enough to pick out a worktop, a picture or a shelf. A CRI of 90 keeps colours looking true. It comes in two colour temperatures, 2700K for a warmer glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white.

It belongs to the 432 Ways Street range and needs three parts, each sold separately. The 432 Ways Street 48V track it fits carries power and holds the light along its length; a 432 Ways Street 48V power supply for the track feeds that track; and a remote 48V DC driver turns mains power into the 48V DC the system runs on. It will not work without them, and the system is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Because the light sits on a track, it suits a kitchen, lighting an island, a breakfast bar or a run of cupboards, and it works in other dry rooms indoors. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The finish is a clean white that keeps the cylinder quiet against a pale ceiling. It is a Class III fitting running at 48V DC, and it dims through DALI, so it needs a DALI control system, which is worth planning before installation. As an integrated LED, the light source is part of the fitting rather than a lamp you swap. One practical note: choose 2700K or 3000K before you order, and match it to any other lights on the same track so the colour of the light looks even across the room. The track in our photographs is not included.
