Description

The Knightsbridge 1.8m E27 track pendant consists of a brushed chrome lamp holder on a 1.8-metre fabric-sleeved cable, terminating in a pre-wired TRKxx track adaptor. The adaptor clips into any Knightsbridge TRKxx series single-circuit track, allowing the pendant to be positioned and repositioned along the track length without rewiring.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, retail displays and commercial workspaces where flexible pendant positioning is needed over counters, islands or tables, the 1.8m drop allows the pendant to hang 600-900mm above a worktop depending on ceiling height. The track adaptor carries both electrical connection and mechanical support, so the pendant can be moved along the track to change lighting zones or accommodate furniture rearrangement.

The 40mm diameter brushed chrome holder accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose the light temperature, brightness and bulb style that suits the space. The fabric-sleeved cable is grey, blending neutrally with both the brushed chrome finish and most ceiling tones. The IP20 rating limits the pendant to dry interior locations.

What track systems is this compatible with?

This pendant is designed for Knightsbridge TRKxx series single-circuit tracks. The pre-wired adaptor clips into the track and can be repositioned along the track length without rewiring. It is not compatible with multi-circuit or three-phase track systems.

What bulb does it take?

The pendant accepts a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a decorative LED filament bulb or a standard warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K.

Is the cable length adjustable?

The cable is a fixed 1.8m length. It cannot be shortened without cutting and re-terminating, which would void the warranty. For rooms with lower ceilings, the excess cable can be looped neatly inside the track channel if there is space, or the pendant can be positioned where the full drop works with the ceiling height.

Can it be used with a dimmer?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb fitted. If you fit a dimmable LED bulb, the pendant can be dimmed via a compatible track dimmer or mains dimmer upstream of the track. Halogen bulbs are inherently dimmable. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.
