Golf Ball LED Bulbs

Small round golf ball LED bulbs that suit pendants, wall lights and lamps where a full-size bulb looks too big. Caps cover E14, E27, B22 and B15, with warm white at 2700K through to crisp 6500K daylight. Pick filament clear glass or a plain white finish, dimmable or non-dimmable, with single bulbs and handy two-packs for fittings that take several.

What a golf ball LED bulb is

A golf ball bulb takes its name from its small, round shape, a little larger than a candle bulb but well short of a full-size GLS lamp. The compact head suits pendants, wall lights and table or floor lamps where a standard bulb would sit too proud of the shade or holder. Every bulb here uses LED, so the running cost stays low and the lamp runs cool to the touch.

Cap fittings

The range covers three caps. SES, the small Edison screw E14, and ES, the larger Edison screw E27, both twist into threaded holders. BC, the B22 bayonet, pushes in and twists a quarter turn to lock. Check the marking on your old bulb or inside the holder before you order, as the cap has to match the fitting exactly.

Colour temperature and dimming

Warm white at 2700K gives a soft, yellowy light for living rooms and bedrooms. Cooler 4000K reads as a cleaner white, and 6500K daylight is brighter and bluer for task areas. Some bulbs also sit at 3000K between the two. Both dimmable and non-dimmable versions are stocked, so if your fitting is on a dimmer, pick a bulb marked dimmable to avoid flicker.

Finishes

Clear filament glass shows the LED strands inside and suits open or lantern-style fittings where the bulb is on view. A plainer finish softens the output and hides the filament behind a shade. Both do the same job; the choice is about how much of the bulb you want to see.

How to choose

Match the cap to your holder first, then pick the colour temperature for the room. If a fitting holds several bulbs, two-packs make it easy to buy the right number in one go and keep the light even across the cluster. Free UK delivery over £99, worldwide shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which cap I need?

Check the fitting in your lamp or light. We stock golf ball bulbs in E14 and E27 screw caps and B22 and B15 bayonet caps, so match the bulb cap to what is already in place before ordering.

What is the difference between warm white and daylight?

Warm white at 2700K to 3000K gives a soft, cosy light for bedrooms and living rooms. Cool white at 4000K is a brighter neutral, and 6500K daylight is the crispest, useful for kitchens, studies and task areas.

Are these golf ball bulbs dimmable?

Some are and some are not, so check the bulb title. Dimmable golf ball bulbs need a compatible LED dimmer to run smoothly; pairing a non-dimmable bulb with a dimmer can cause flicker or buzz.

Can I buy golf ball bulbs in multipacks?

Yes. Many run as single bulbs, and several are sold in two-packs, which is handy for a multi-arm pendant or pair of wall lights where you want every bulb to match in tone and brightness.
