A 4W B22 LED bulb, this one gives a warm white light and has a compact round golf-ball shape. The colour sits at 2700K and it reaches 470 lumens. It gives light in the region of a traditional 60W bulb while drawing only 4W. It is dimmable, which lets you set the level from bright down to a low glow on a compatible dimmer. The light reaches full brightness the moment you switch it on, with no warm-up delay. LED bulbs like this use far less power than the old incandescent bulbs they replace, which keeps bills down.

You will find the B22 cap on ceiling pendants, wall fittings and lamps that take a bayonet cap. Warm white light like this feels settled and homely, which suits living spaces, bedrooms and dining areas. Because it dims, it works well where you want to set the mood by room or by time of day.
