Description

The Focus T is a compact recessed LED downlight with an adjustable head housed in a white aluminium tube. The integrated 6W LED delivers 3000K warm white light through a directional fitting that can be tilted to target specific surfaces or features. The 30mm diameter ceiling aperture and 151mm drop below the ceiling line suit installations where a low-profile fitting is needed but full recessed-plate downlights cannot fit.

Designed for residential kitchens, hallways, home offices and retail display areas, the Focus T pairs task lighting with accent capability. The adjustable head rotates within the tube body, allowing the beam to be aimed at worktops, shelving, artwork or architectural details rather than fixed downward. The compact tube profile works in spaces with shallow ceiling voids or where clustered fittings are needed without visual clutter. The white finish on the aluminium body matches standard white ceilings and disappears when viewed from typical room positions.

The 6W integrated LED runs on AC 220-240V mains and is rated at 3000K colour temperature, producing a warm white output that sits between neutral daylight and the warmer tones of halogen. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations but not for bathrooms or outdoor use. The aluminium construction provides passive heat dissipation without requiring external cooling fins, keeping the visible profile minimal while maintaining the LED's operating lifespan.

Frequently Asked

Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head rotates and tilts within the white aluminium tube, allowing the beam to be aimed at different angles after the fitting is installed. This makes it suitable for both task lighting and accent lighting depending on where the beam is directed.

What ceiling void depth is required?

The downlight projects 151mm below the ceiling line. The ceiling void depth required depends on the specific driver unit supplied with the fitting — see the product manual linked in the Downloads tab for the exact clearance needed above the ceiling.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the driver unit supplied with the fitting. Contact us before purchase if you need to confirm compatibility with a specific dimmer model.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms you need a downlight rated IP44 or higher depending on the zone.
