Description

The Astrielle is a 510mm vertical wall light built around a rounded rectangular bar of natural Spanish alabaster, set against a brushed brass backplate. An integrated 3000K LED runs the length of the fitting behind the stone, casting warm light through the alabaster face while spilling a soft glow back onto the wall from behind the brass plate.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and either side of a bathroom mirror, the slim 130mm-wide profile suits narrow wall sections where a wider sconce would feel crowded. The vertical orientation works well in pairs flanking a doorway or headboard, and the 510mm height gives enough light coverage to act as the primary source in a hallway or as ambient layered light alongside ceiling fittings in larger rooms.

The alabaster bar is cut from a single piece of stone, so the veining and translucency vary between individual fittings — when lit, internal clouding and mineral textures become visible through the surface. The brushed brass backplate has a low-sheen finish that softens reflections and pairs the warm metal tone with the cream and amber notes in the stone. Fixings are concealed behind the backplate, leaving a clean front profile with no visible screws.

Does the Astrielle come with a bulb?

Yes. The LED is integrated into the fitting and runs at 3000K warm white on 230V mains. There is no separate bulb to buy or replace, so the unit ships ready to wire and mount.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Astrielle is supplied without a published IP rating, so it is intended for general indoor use rather than bathroom zones. For bathroom installation, please contact us before ordering to confirm whether it is suitable for your zone.

Does each piece of alabaster look the same?

No. Each alabaster bar is cut from natural Spanish stone, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual fittings. Variation in the stone is a feature of the natural material, not a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners — alabaster is porous and softer than marble, and chemical cleaners can mark the surface permanently.
