Hanging, weight and floor-standing safety

Wall mirrors at the large and extra-large end are heavy: a typical 120 cm framed piece weighs 15 to 25 kg, and extra-large pieces can run to 40 kg or more. That weight needs proper fixings rated for the full weight with a safety margin, ideally two fixings matched to D-rings or a French cleat on the back.
