Description

TheLight is an LED chandelier in black with a crisp, architectural outline: slim iron arms branch out from a central fluted column in tiers, and each arm carries upright light bars that glow softly at each end through acrylic diffusers. We sell it in three light counts, each with its own size. The 12-light version is 60cm tall and 67.5cm across, the 18-light version is 70cm tall and 102cm across, and the 30-light version is 70cm tall and 109cm across. All three hang on a 250cm drop. The light source is integrated LED at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 80+, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and the energy class is E.

Its generous spread makes it a natural centrepiece above a dining table, in a living room with good ceiling height, or in a wide entrance hall or open-plan space. The 12-light version is the one we would choose for a smaller table or room, while the 18-light and 30-light versions suit a larger room with space around them. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. It is not dimmable, so it belongs on a standard switch rather than a dimmer.

The frame is iron with a black finish, and the diffusers are acrylic. On the 30-light version the shades are sandblasted methacrylate and the structure is textured painted or electroplated iron. The design is by Cristian Cubiñá. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, hang it centred over a dining table so its arms spread evenly around it, and let the black frame sit against pale walls, warm plaster or natural wood, where its outline reads clearly.
