Description

Our SuperMoon pendant light is a large white fitting built around a slim vertical stem that hangs from the ceiling on fine cables. Four side arms reach out from the stem at staggered heights, and each holds a round disc shade with a crescent cut from its edge, so every shade looks like a moon partway through its phases. The light comes from integrated LEDs, so there is no bulb to buy, and it glows a warm white at 3000K with a CRI of 80+, which keeps colours looking natural for everyday living. Finished in white throughout, it measures 200cm across with a drop of 180cm.

At this size it needs room around it. It suits a double-height hallway, a stairwell, a generous open-plan living space or a long dining table, and it sits just as comfortably in a hotel lobby, a restaurant or an office reception. Because the arms sit at different heights, the light is spread through the space rather than gathered at one point, which helps a tall room feel lit from top to bottom. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install.

The SuperMoon is made from iron and plastic and finished in white from stem to shade, so the whole fitting reads as one calm, pale form.
