These are the Selby waffle pillowcases, sold as a pair, made from 100% cotton with a waffle-textured face and a smooth percale reverse. The face carries an understated vertical stripe in charcoal against a warm cream ground, so the two sides give you two quite different feels from a single case. Being pure cotton throughout, they breathe well and stay comfortable against the skin through the night, and cotton takes a wash without fuss.

They suit a bed that is layered rather than matched: the relaxed stripe and the raised waffle sit happily alongside plain linens, and the case works as much for propping up to read as it does dressed flat for the day.
