Description

The QTX G-shape mounting hook is a steel clamp designed to secure stage lighting fixtures, moving heads, PAR cans and effects lights onto lighting bars, truss poles and scaffolding tubes up to 55mm in diameter. The hook is formed from powder-coated black steel in a G profile, with a threaded screw clamp that tightens against the pole to lock the fixture in position. It carries a 20kg maximum load rating.

Used in live event production, theatre rigging, mobile DJ setups and permanent installation venues, the hook provides a tool-free mounting solution for lighting fixtures with integrated hanging brackets. The G-shaped profile allows the fixture to hang below the bar while the screw clamp tightens from the side, holding both the hook and the fixture securely without needing additional safety cables for loads within the 20kg limit. The 55mm maximum diameter accommodates standard 50mm lighting bars and 48.3mm scaffolding tube.

The black powder-coated finish resists scratching during repeated mounting and dismounting cycles. The screw clamp uses a wing-nut-style head that can be tightened by hand, though a spanner or adjustable wrench provides additional torque where needed. The hook weighs approximately 250g, keeping it light enough for frequent transport in flight cases and equipment bags without adding significant bulk to touring kit.
