The Palmeria duvet cover set puts a quilted, embroidered palm-leaf pattern on a soft velvet front, with the whole design raised and sculpted into the pile so the leaves catch the light as they fan across the bed. The face of the set is velvet; the reverse is cotton, so you get one texture to look at and another to sleep against. It comes in four sizes, Single through to Super King, and the gold shown here is a deep, warm amber-gold that reads richly against a dark wall.

This is a set for a bedroom you want to feel warm and full rather than plain.
