Description

The Orbis is a 100mm square surface-mounted downlight with a brushed nickel finish, housing a single GX53 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The fitting mounts flush to the ceiling with a square aluminium body that directs light downward through a central aperture, creating a focused pool of light directly beneath the fitting.

Designed for ceiling mounting in kitchens, hallways, bathrooms (outside shower zones), and commercial spaces where a square profile suits the architecture better than a circular downlight. The 100mm footprint sits neatly above kitchen worktops, in alcove ceilings, and along hallway runs where multiple fittings create evenly-spaced light pools. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations away from direct moisture exposure.

The brushed nickel finish has a directional grain that softens reflections under daylight and pairs with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps, and grey-toned or white interiors. The aluminium body provides heat dissipation for the GX53 bulb, which is a compact disc-profile lamp commonly used in low-ceiling applications where a traditional GU10 fitting would protrude too far.
