Description

The Neutrik NL4MMX is a 4-pole Speakon in-line coupler with male connectors on both ends, designed to join two Speakon speaker cables together to extend cable runs. The coupler uses Neutrik's twist-lock mating system, which requires a quarter-turn clockwise rotation to engage the locking mechanism and secure both cable connections.

Used in live sound reinforcement, installed audio systems, and touring applications where speaker cable runs need to be extended without re-terminating existing cables. The lockable back-to-back design prevents accidental disconnection during setup, breakdown, or when cables are under tension. The 4-pole configuration supports bi-amped or full-range speaker configurations using all four conductors.

The NL4MMX body is constructed from die-cast metal shell with a black finish, providing shielding and durability in high-traffic environments. Each connector end accepts a standard NL4 Speakon cable plug (female termination), and the twist-lock mechanism engages when the cable plug is inserted and rotated clockwise. The coupler is rated for the same current-carrying capacity as standard NL4 cable connectors, supporting up to 40A per pole.
