Description
The Naira is a set of two nested coffee tables with circular tops finished in a glossy black marble-effect melamine over MDF, set on angular matte black metal frames. The larger table measures 120cm in diameter, the smaller 91cm, and both nest together with the smaller table tucking beneath the larger when not in use. The marble-effect surface shows thin grey veining over a deep black base, replicating the appearance of natural stone without the weight or porosity.
Designed for contemporary living rooms and open-plan lounge areas, the Naira functions as a single coffee table arrangement when nested, or as two separate low tables when pulled apart to define different zones within a room. The 41cm height suits standard sofas and armchairs, allowing drinks and remotes to be placed comfortably within reach. The high-resistance melamine surface resists scratching and heat marks better than standard lacquer or veneer finishes, making the tables practical for everyday use in households with children or frequent entertaining.
The matte black metal frames use a straight geometric profile rather than curved legs, giving the tables a more architectural presence than typical round coffee tables. The combined weight of 11.6kg for both tables keeps them stable without making rearrangement difficult. The black-on-black palette works in monochrome interiors, as well as rooms where the tables need to recede visually while still anchoring the seating area. The glossy tops reflect overhead lighting, adding visual depth to darker rooms.

Assembly Instruction
Frequently Asked
Are the tables supplied assembled?
No. The Naira tables require assembly on delivery. The metal frames and circular tops are packaged separately, and the tops attach to the frames using fixings supplied with the tables. An assembly instruction PDF is available in the Downloads tab above.
Can the tables be used separately?
Yes. While they nest together for space-saving storage or a layered coffee table arrangement, both tables can be separated and used in different areas of the same room or in different rooms entirely. The smaller table works well as a side table next to an armchair.
Is the marble-effect surface heat-resistant?
The high-resistance melamine surface resists heat better than standard veneer or lacquer finishes, but hot items (mugs straight from the kettle, serving dishes from the oven) should still be placed on mats or trivets to avoid potential damage over time.
What diameter is the smaller table?
The specification lists the overall width as 120cm and depth as 91cm, which represent the combined footprint when nested. The smaller table is 91cm in diameter, the larger 120cm.
