Description
The Monochrome Swirl is a set of two nesting side tables, each built from a black metal circular frame supporting a removable tray top with a marbled grey-and-black swirl surface pattern. The larger table measures 48cm in diameter and stands 69cm tall; the smaller table is 39cm diameter and 57cm tall. Both trays lift off their frames, allowing them to be carried separately or used as serving trays.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where floor space is limited, the two tables nest together when not in use, with the smaller table sliding partially under the larger one to reduce the combined footprint to approximately 48 x 60cm. When separated, the tables work as lamp stands next to a sofa, bedside surfaces for books and drinks, or occasional surfaces for plants and decorative objects. The circular frame construction gives a light visual profile despite the 5.5kg combined weight.
The swirl pattern on each tray is printed onto the metal surface rather than painted or inlaid, giving a flat, smooth finish that's easy to wipe clean. The black-and-grey tonal variation differs between the two trays, so they read as a matched set without being identical. The black powder-coated metal frame pairs well with monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors where contrast between light and dark surfaces is used as a decorative feature.

Frequently Asked
Can the trays be removed from the frames?
Yes. Both tray tops lift off their metal frames, allowing them to be used as separate serving trays or carried independently. The trays sit in the frame rather than being fixed, so they can be removed without tools.
Do the tables nest together for storage?
Yes. The smaller table slides partially under the larger table, reducing the combined footprint when the set is not in use. The nesting arrangement saves approximately 40cm of floor width compared to placing them side by side.
What is the swirl pattern made from?
The swirl is a printed surface pattern on the metal tray, giving a flat, smooth finish. It is not hand-painted or inlaid, so the pattern is consistent across production batches and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Are the trays stable when loaded?
The circular metal base provides a stable platform for typical side-table loads such as lamps, books, drinks and small plants. The 5.5kg combined weight of the set gives enough mass to resist tipping under normal use, but the trays should not be overloaded beyond what a typical side table would carry.
