This is a plain velvet cushion from the Meridian range, made from 100% polyester with a soft, velvet-feel pile. The front and reverse are a single moss green, and the edges are finished with a contrasting piped border in charcoal grey, so the shape reads cleanly whichever way the cushion sits. It measures 55 by 55cm, which is larger than the standard 45cm scatter cushion most sofas come dressed with, and that extra width is the reason to choose it: a bigger cushion holds its shape against the back of a deep seat rather than disappearing into it.
