Description
The Lumorne is a glass globe chandelier: opal glass globes held out on slim metal rods in a textured black finish. The rods bend at right angles and reach out at different lengths, so the globes sit at varied heights and the whole fitting hangs like a mobile. Opal glass turns each bulb into a soft, even glow. We sell it in three light counts: 4 lights, 110cm across with a 79cm drop; 8 lights, 144cm across with a 100cm drop; and 12 lights, 145cm across with a 120cm drop. Every version takes G9 bulbs, which are not included, so you choose and buy them separately.
It suits a dining room, where the globes can spread out over a long table, or a living room, open-plan space or generous hallway where an open, airy chandelier has room around it. The 4-light version is the most compact of the three, while the 8-light and 12-light versions reach wider and hang lower, so they suit taller ceilings and stairwells. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Black rods and white globes sit happily in a modern scheme and look just as good against pale plaster, wood panelling or a dark painted ceiling.
The frame is metal, finished in textured black, and the globes are opal glass, a pairing that keeps the look crisp and graphic. It is a Class II mains fitting, for a qualified electrician to install. Because the G9 bulbs are bought separately, choose the same bulb for every globe so the glow stays even from one side to the other. For styling, centre it over a dining table or the middle of a room and keep nearby lighting low and simple, so the black lines and white globes stay the focus.

Frequently Asked
How many lights does the Lumorne chandelier have?
We sell it in three versions: 4 lights, 8 lights or 12 lights, each with opal glass globes on a textured black frame.
How big is each version of the chandelier?
The 4-light version is 110cm across with a 79cm drop, the 8-light is 144cm across with a 100cm drop, and the 12-light is 145cm across with a 120cm drop.
What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
It takes G9 bulbs: 4, 8 or 12 of them depending on the version you choose. The bulbs are not included, so you buy them separately.
What is the chandelier made of?
The globes are opal glass and the frame is metal in a textured black finish, so a soft glow sits against crisp black lines.
Can it go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only.
Who should install it?
It is a mains fitting, so it is for a qualified electrician to install, whichever of the three versions you choose.
