Description

A 24W circular LED panel that recesses into the ceiling and gives you a choice of colour temperature rather than fixing it at the factory. The light source is built in behind a flat diffuser that fills the full width of the aperture, so the whole face glows rather than throwing a narrow beam from a single point. A slim white trim rings the edge, and two sprung clips fold up as the panel goes into the hole then open out above the plasterboard to hold it flush.

Recessed panels earn their place in flat plastered ceilings where you want even light across a room rather than a line of spotlights picking out patches of floor. Kitchens, hallways, landings, home offices and utility rooms are the usual homes for them, and the round format suits a ceiling where a square panel would fight the geometry of the room. Because the colour temperature is selectable, you can run a warmer setting in a living space and a cooler one in a work area while keeping the same fitting throughout.
