The Lexington cushion has a jacquard velvet woven face patterned with a close-set grid of small diamond motifs, each one picked out in its own tone so the surface reads as a scattering of cream, gold-beige, mid grey and near-black shapes across a pale ground. It measures 40 x 60cm, a generous rectangular bolster shape rather than a square, and the whole thing is made from polyester, which is what gives it a soft velvet hand while staying hard-wearing.

A rectangular cushion of this length is one to place along the back of a sofa or across the head of a bed, where it fills the width that two square cushions leave awkward. The palette here is entirely neutral, greys warmed with cream and touched with black, so it settles against grey, charcoal and natural-linen upholstery without fighting it, and lifts a plain scheme with pattern rather than colour.
