Description

This is a 50 x 50cm velvet cushion in a deep navy blue, embroidered with a scattering of koi carp worked in metallic gold thread. The fish swim across the whole face in different directions, their fins and scales picked out in raised stitching so the pattern catches the light rather than sitting flat on the cloth. Velvet runs across both sides of the cushion, so it feels the same to the touch whichever way it lands on a sofa. A piped trim runs the full way round the edge, following the seam, and a zip closure sits discreetly along one side.
