This is a single wall light with a globe of alabaster set against a round black iron disc. Lit from within by an integrated LED, the stone glows a soft, warm white, and its cloudy veining comes through as gentle texture. The LED is rated at 4.5W and gives 270 lumens at 2700K with a CRI of 80+, so the light is warm and calm rather than bright, and because the LED is integrated there is no bulb to buy. It stands 20cm tall, projects 20cm from the wall and has a 12cm diameter.

Being rated IP20, this alabaster wall light is for dry rooms only, which makes it well suited to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, landings and dining rooms. Its 270 lumens make it a light for mood and accent rather than for lighting a whole room on its own, and we like it best in pairs either side of a bed, a fireplace or a console table, or in a run along a corridor where you want a low, warm glow.
