Description

Our Halvessa is a two-light pendant that pairs two alabaster globes with a slim black frame. A round ceiling canopy carries two cables down to a U-shaped bracket, with one globe resting on top of it and the second hanging beneath, so the pair reads as a soft column of light. Both globes are lit by integrated LED, which means there are no bulbs to buy or change, and the warm white 2700K glow brings out the veining in the alabaster. With a CRI of 80 or more, colours in the room look true and comfortable. The pendant is 18cm across with a drop of 180cm.

Because it is dimmable, it works as well over a dining table as it does turned low in a bedroom or on a landing at night, though you will need a compatible dimmer to get the best from it. Its narrow width makes it a good choice for a hallway, a stairwell or a corner of the living room, and two or three hung in a row look well over a long table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. It suits anyone who wants the warmth of stone rather than glass.

The metalwork is iron in a black finish, which frames the pale alabaster without competing with it, and the LED is built into the fitting.
