Fuji LED Alabaster Pendant Light - Polished Brass

Our Fuji pendant light is a simple cone of alabaster hung from a polished brass ceiling canopy on a slim black cord. When it is lit, the stone glows from within, and veins of grey and soft brown show through the white, while light spills from the open base. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives a warm white 2700K light with a CRI of 80+, at 260 lumens on the 21cm size and 335 lumens on the 33cm. The smaller pendant is 21cm across and 10cm tall, the larger 33cm across and 20cm tall, and both hang on a 180cm drop.

Light at this level is soft and warm, not bright, so we see the Fuji as mood and accent lighting rather than the only light in a room. Hang a single pendant over a bedside table, a reading chair or a console, or a pair above a dining table, where the two sizes sit well together. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. It is not dimmable, so plan to run it on an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer.

The shade is alabaster, a stone with a soft translucency that turns warm once lit, and the metalwork, made from iron and metal, carries a polished brass finish that picks up the glow of the stone. The design is by Jordi Llopis. The LED draws 4.6W on the 21cm size and 4.83W on the 33cm, and the fitting has an energy class of E. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, let the brass canopy echo other warm metals in the room, such as a mirror frame, and keep the wall behind it calm so the veining in the alabaster does the talking.
