Description
The Evixa is a 94 x 69cm rectangle wall mirror with a carved wood frame finished in dark antique gold. The frame features hand-carved leaf and vine detailing running continuously around all four edges, with a rope-twist inner border separating the carved outer section from the mirror glass. The dark gold finish sits between polished brass and aged bronze in tone, providing depth and tonal variation across the carved surfaces.
Designed for traditional, classical and eclectic interiors, the Evixa works as a single feature mirror above a fireplace mantel, console table or sideboard in living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. At 94cm tall, the mirror provides a full upper-body reflection when hung at typical eye height (150-160cm from floor to centre), making it functional for outfit checking in bedrooms and dressing rooms as well as decorative in reception spaces. The 4.5cm frame depth gives the mirror a substantial presence on the wall without dominating smaller rooms.
The wood frame is carved, not moulded, meaning each section of leaf and vine detailing shows tool marks and slight variation in depth. The dark gold finish is applied over the raw carved wood, settling into the recesses and highlighting the relief. The combined mirror glass and carved wood frame weigh between 7-20kg depending on the glass thickness (specification table provides exact weight), requiring two wall fixings rated for the load. The frame ships with D-rings or sawtooth hangers pre-fitted to the reverse.

Frequently Asked
How is the mirror mounted?
The mirror ships with D-rings or sawtooth hangers pre-fitted to the reverse of the frame. Two wall fixings rated for the weight (7-20kg) are required. Wall fixings are not included and should be selected based on your wall type (plasterboard, brick, solid wall).
Can it be hung portrait or landscape?
The Evixa is designed as a portrait-orientation mirror (94cm tall x 69cm wide). The carved leaf and vine pattern runs symmetrically around all four edges, so it could technically be hung landscape, but the proportions work best in portrait orientation.
What rooms does it suit?
The Evixa pairs traditional and classical interiors, working in living rooms above a fireplace or console, in dining rooms above a sideboard, in hallways as a feature mirror, and in bedrooms or dressing rooms where a full upper-body reflection is needed. The dark gold finish complements warm-toned walls, wood furniture and brass or bronze accessories.
How is the carved frame cleaned?
Dust the carved detailing with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth. For the mirror glass, use standard glass cleaner, avoiding contact between the cleaner and the wood frame. Do not use water or chemical cleaners on the carved wood as they may lift or discolour the gold finish.
