Description
The Delano cushion is a rectangular 40 x 60cm bolster-shaped piece whose front carries an interlocking lattice worked in jacquard. Look closely at the face and you can see two textures at play: a raised, light-catching velvet pile forms the ribbon-like bars of the pattern, while the ground behind them is a flatter woven cloth. The colours sit in teal, gold and softer green tones, so the geometry reads as a three-dimensional trellis rather than a flat print. It is made from 100% polyester throughout.
At 40 x 60cm this is a lumbar or bolster size rather than a square, which makes it the cushion to reach for when you want to fill the small of your back on a deep sofa or break up a row of larger square cushions along a bed. The teal and gold palette works against grey and neutral upholstery, and sits comfortably with darker jewel tones if you are building a layered, warmer scheme. Set it in front of a plain cushion and the pattern does the talking.
The reverse is a plain soft velvet in a solid teal, so the cushion has a quieter side to turn outward if you prefer. It is finished with an oxford border, the flat framed edge you can see running around all four sides, and closes with a hidden zip so the cover can come off. Being 100% polyester, it is hard-wearing and resists staining, which suits a cushion that gets leaned on daily. The zip means the cover lifts away when you need it to.

Frequently Asked
Is the whole cushion patterned or just one side?
Only the front carries the geometric lattice jacquard. The reverse is a plain soft velvet in solid teal, so you can turn the quieter side outward whenever you want a calmer look.
What size is this cushion and what is it best for?
It measures 40 x 60cm, a rectangular lumbar shape rather than a square, which makes it ideal for supporting the lower back on a deep sofa or layering in front of larger cushions.
Can the cover be removed?
Yes. There is a hidden zip closure along one edge, so the cover lifts away from the inner pad whenever you need it to.
What is the cushion made from?
It is 100% polyester throughout, both the jacquard face and the velvet reverse, which makes it hard-wearing and means it does not stain easily in everyday use.
What is the oxford border?
It is the flat framed edge that runs around all four sides of the cushion, giving the piece a defined outline rather than a plain seamed edge.
