Our Deco Crystal Pendant Light is a single pendant with a dome of clear, faceted crystal that sparkles when the bulb is lit. The shade sits on an iron fitting, and the pendant comes in two finishes, chrome or matt gold, so you can choose a cooler or a warmer metal to sit with the crystal. The shade is 28cm across and the pendant has a 160cm drop, which is worth checking against your ceiling height before you choose a spot. It takes one G9 bulb, and the bulb is not included, so you will need to buy one to go with it.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. A single Deco pendant works over a dining table, in a hallway, on a landing or in a bedroom, and because the shade is clear it keeps a light, open look rather than blocking the view across the room. Hung in a row, several pendants make a lovely line of sparkle above a long table, and the same idea works in a café, restaurant or hotel lounge. Against dark walls the clear faceted crystal really comes into its own, as each lit pendant stands out from the shadow behind it.

The Deco pendant was designed by Cristian Cubiñá. Its shade is crystal and its fitting is iron, finished in chrome or in matt gold: the chrome version gives a bright, cool gleam against the clear shade, while the matt gold version is softer and warmer. It is a mains fitting, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. As a styling note, choose chrome to sit with greys, black and cool whites, and matt gold to sit with warm woods, cream and deep greens, then let the crystal do the rest.
