Our Deco crystal ceiling light is built around a clear, faceted shade of crystal and glass, cut into rows of pointed facets that catch the light from within. It takes one G9 bulb, which is not included, so you can pick the bulb you like before it goes up. The iron structure comes in two finishes, chrome or matt gold, and you choose which one you want. It is 26cm tall and 28cm across, a compact size that still brings plenty of sparkle to a ceiling.

The fitting sits semi-flush on a short stem, so it keeps close to the ceiling and suits rooms where a hanging pendant would feel too low: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom, a dining room or a living room with a modest ceiling. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. The cut crystal look sits happily in a period home with cornicing and panelled doors, yet its rounded bowl outline is simple enough for a plainer modern room.
