The Casandra is a 160cm rectangular dining table built around a polished stainless steel base formed from two interlocking circular loops, supporting a 12mm tempered safety glass top with polished edges. The glass surface is clear and transparent, allowing the floor beneath and the sculptural steel frame to remain visible from above. The steel is polished to a mirror finish that reflects surrounding light and objects.

Designed for dining rooms and open-plan living spaces where a six-seater table is needed without visual bulk, the Casandra suits contemporary and minimalist interiors where the table needs to occupy floor space without dominating it. The 160cm x 90cm top seats six people comfortably with standard dining chairs. Two can sit at each long side and one at each end, allowing approximately 60cm of table width per person.

Is the glass top removable?

Yes. The glass sits on the steel frame without permanent fixing, allowing it to be lifted off for moving the table or for cleaning the underside of the glass and the top surfaces of the steel base.

How is the polished steel maintained?

Polished stainless steel shows fingerprints, smudges and water marks. Wipe regularly with a microfibre cloth and a stainless steel cleaner or diluted white vinegar to maintain the mirror finish. Buff dry to prevent streaking.

What weight can the glass top support?

The 12mm tempered safety glass is rated for typical dining use including plates, glassware, serving dishes and centrepieces. Avoid placing extremely heavy single-point loads or standing on the table, as concentrated weight can stress the glass beyond its design limits.
