Description

The Belvedere is a set of two nesting side tables that pair aged gold metal frames with tinted glass and white marble surfaces. The larger table features a 43cm-diameter tinted glass top held in a circular aged gold frame on three arched legs, standing 61cm high. The smaller table is a 35.5cm-diameter cylinder with vertical ribbed detailing on the aged gold metal body, topped with a white marble disc at 56cm high. The smaller table nests inside the larger table's frame, reducing the footprint when both are not in use.

Designed as occasional side tables for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, the set provides two surfaces at different heights without requiring the floor space of two separate tables. The larger table suits lamp placement, drinks or books next to a sofa or armchair, while the smaller cylinder table can be pulled out to hold a second drink or decorative object. The nesting configuration allows the smaller table to be stored inside the larger when floor space is at a premium or during cleaning.

The aged gold finish on the metal frames shows tonal variation and a slightly weathered patina, giving a warmer appearance than polished brass or bright gold plate. The tinted glass on the larger table has a bronze-grey tone that varies slightly between production batches due to the specialist tinting process.
