Description

The Bath A is a linear LED pendant light: a single long polycarbonate tube that glows evenly along its length, carried on an iron structure. It comes in two finishes, white or silver, and in three sizes, all 8cm tall: 60cm, 90cm and 120cm long. The 60cm size runs on 14W and gives 1350 lumens, the 90cm size runs on 22W for 2160 lumens, and the 120cm size runs on 30.8W for 2970 lumens. The light source is an integrated LED, so it needs no bulb. It gives a warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 80+ for good everyday colour.

It is rated IP23, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. Within those rooms it is a natural fit over a desk in a home office or study, along a dining table, or down a hallway or landing, where a long, even line of light works better than a single point. The 120cm size suits a long table or a broad desk, the 90cm size a standard dining table, and the 60cm size a compact desk or a smaller room. It suits anyone after practical light with a calm look.

The structure is iron, in a white or silver finish, and the polycarbonate tube spreads the LED into a soft, even glow. It hangs on a 150cm drop from two fine suspension wires, with a separate power cable. It is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible triac dimmer, and it carries energy class E. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. The design is by Oriol Llahona: one clean tubular line. Choose white to sit against a pale ceiling, or silver to echo steel, chrome and glass, and hang it parallel to the long edge of a table so the light falls evenly along it.
