Description

The Zephyra is a 162mm square recessed ground light with an integrated 6W 3000K LED and a tiltable light module that adjusts ±30° from vertical. The light sits flush with ground level once installed, with the LED positioned in a recessed cavity behind a grey metal bezel. The tilt mechanism allows the beam to be angled towards a wall, planting or architectural detail rather than pointing straight upward.

Designed for pathway lighting, patio borders, driveway edges and garden bed accents, the Zephyra requires a 170mm installation depth below the surface and connects via a 400mm pre-wired cable. The IP67 rating provides full dust-sealing and protection against temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth, making the fitting suitable for areas that flood occasionally during heavy rain or where groundwater drainage is slow. The grey painted steel construction withstands foot traffic and light wheeled loads across the bezel surface.

The 6W LED produces warm white 3000K light that sits in the yellow-white spectrum, matching incandescent and halogen outdoor lighting commonly used in UK residential gardens. The recessed position of the LED behind the bezel reduces direct glare when viewed from standing height, concentrating the output onto the angled surface or upward onto foliage. The non-dimmable driver runs on 230V mains and draws approximately 6W continuously when powered, equivalent to around 53kWh per year if left on 24 hours daily.

It may withstand occasional car tyres rolling over it on a driveway border, but it is not designed as a heavy-duty drive-over fitting. For areas with regular vehicle traffic, specify a drive-over rated ground light instead.
