Description

The Zephyra is a 162mm diameter recessed ground light with an integrated 11W 3000K LED set into a steel body finished in silver. The fitting sits flush with ground level once installed, with a clear polycarbonate lens covering the LED to protect against dust and water ingress to IP67 standard. The non-orientable LED casts light upward in a fixed cone, lighting adjacent walls, planting or architectural features.

Designed for pathways, driveways, patios and garden borders, the Zephyra requires a recessed installation into a prepared housing or void with a minimum depth of 170mm to accommodate the fitting body and 400mm cable run. The IP67 rating allows the light to withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth, making it suitable for areas that flood occasionally or experience heavy rain. The steel construction and sealed lens resist corrosion from soil contact and moisture.

The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white output that sits between golden and neutral, complementing outdoor stone, brick and planting without the cool blue cast of daylight-temperature LEDs. The 11W integrated LED is not user-replaceable and is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of continuous operation. The silver finish blends into pale paving, concrete and gravel surfaces while remaining visible enough to avoid being a trip hazard during daylight.

Installation requires mains voltage wiring run to the location before the fitting is recessed. The 400mm cable tail emerging from the fitting body connects to the incoming supply via a waterproof junction box positioned outside the ground void. Once set into the prepared housing and backfilled, only the 162mm diameter lens remains visible at ground level.
