Description
The Zephyra is a 162mm square recessed ground light with an integrated 11W LED module set inside a grey steel bezel, rated IP67 for full dust and water protection. The LED module tilts ±30° within its housing, allowing the beam to be angled to graze a wall, highlight planting, or direct light along a path rather than straight upwards.
Designed for installation flush with paving, tarmac or concrete, the Zephyra suits driveways, garden paths, patios and exterior steps where both foot and vehicle traffic pass over the fitting. The IP67 seal protects against submersion in shallow water (up to 1m depth for 30 minutes), making the light viable in locations where standing water or heavy rain is expected. The 170mm installation depth requires excavation or integration into new construction; the 400mm cable tail exits from the base to connect to buried supply cabling.
The 3000K warm white LED output provides functional path-marking and accent lighting without the blue cast of cooler colour temperatures. The grey steel bezel blends into most paving finishes when the light is off, and the square profile aligns with modern paving grids and linear path edging. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty, with an expected lifespan significantly longer than traditional halogen ground lights.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP67 rating mean for outdoor use?
IP67 provides full protection against dust ingress and protects against water immersion up to 1m depth for 30 minutes. The Zephyra can handle heavy rain, hose washing, and temporary standing water without damage.
Can the LED module be angled after installation?
Yes. The module tilts ±30° within the housing, allowing you to direct the beam to graze a wall, highlight planting, or angle light along a pathway. The adjustment is made during installation or when the light is accessed for maintenance.
What installation depth is required?
The fitting has a 170mm projection below the surface, plus the 400mm cable tail. You will need to excavate or pour concrete to this depth, with additional space for the cable run and junction box connection.
Can vehicles drive over this light?
Yes. The IP67-rated steel bezel and sealed construction are designed to withstand both pedestrian and vehicle traffic when installed flush with driveways or parking areas. Ensure the surround is properly compacted to prevent settlement.
