Description
The Zaria II is a 29-light LED suspension fitting built around a curved gold-toned arc measuring 213cm wide by 138cm drop. Twenty-nine hand-formed clear acrylic shades hang at intervals along the arc, each housing a section of the integrated 105W 3000K LED array. The shades are faceted to catch and scatter light when the fitting is switched on, creating multiple bright points across the 2.13m span.
Designed for high-ceiling residential and hospitality spaces where a single pendant or chandelier would be lost, the Zaria II works above long dining tables, in double-height entrance halls, and in hotel lobbies or restaurant dining areas with ceiling heights of 3m or more. The arc curves asymmetrically, with the majority of the shades concentrated along the longer section of the curve, pulling focus towards one end of the table or seating area. The TRIAC-compatible dimming driver allows the 8,704 lumens to be reduced for ambient evening lighting or increased for task lighting during daytime.
The gold frame is a powder-coated steel construction finished in a low-sheen metallic gold that reflects warm tones from the 3000K LED output. The clear acrylic shades are injection-moulded with a faceted outer surface, giving each shade a crystalline appearance when viewed from below. The combined weight of 23.96kg requires secure ceiling fixing into a structural support point or joist, not just plasterboard. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations.
At 213cm wide, the Zaria II is too large for most single-table UK dining rooms under 4m long, but pairs well with 2.4-3m farmhouse tables, kitchen islands in open-plan homes, and commercial dining tables seating 10-12. The asymmetric arc means the fitting needs to be positioned with the curve aligned to the table length, not mounted centrally and ignored.

Frequently Asked
Is the Zaria II dimmable?
Yes. The integrated 105W LED includes a TRIAC-compatible driver, allowing smooth dimming from 100% down to approximately 10% output when paired with a compatible TRIAC dimmer switch. The 8,704 lumens at full brightness can be reduced for ambient evening lighting.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 138cm drop means the fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above. For installation above a dining table, the bottom of the shades typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which would place the ceiling fixing point at approximately 2.8-3m or higher depending on the table height.
What ceiling fixing is required?
At 23.96kg, the Zaria II requires fixing into a structural ceiling support such as a timber joist, concrete slab or RSJ. It cannot be hung from plasterboard alone. A qualified electrician should assess the ceiling structure before installation and use appropriate heavy-duty ceiling fixings rated for the load.
What table length does it suit?
The 213cm arc suits dining tables or kitchen islands between 2.4m and 3.2m long. The asymmetric curve means the fitting should be aligned with the table length, with the majority of the shades concentrated over the main seating area. For tables shorter than 2.2m, the Zaria II may overpower the space.
