Description

The Wynorne is a tall, slim LED floor lamp: a single round column in a textured black finish, 190cm tall and 8cm across, rising from a flat disc base to a white acrylic diffuser at the top. The body is aluminium, and the light inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs at 20W and gives 3500 lumens, a generous amount of light from one lamp, at 3000K, a warm white that feels at home in the evening. A CRI of 90 plus means colours, fabrics and skin tones look true under it.

It is made for living rooms, bedrooms, studies and other dry rooms indoors. Set in a corner or beside a sofa or armchair, it lifts the light in a room while taking very little floor space, since the column is only 8cm across. It is dimmable with the dimmer in the cable, so you need no wall dimmer: turn it up for bright, even light when friends come round, then down to a soft glow while you watch a film. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only. It comes with a UK plug, ready for an ordinary socket.

Construction is simple: an aluminium column in a textured black finish, topped by an acrylic diffuser through which the integrated LED glows. It is a Class II fitting with an energy class of E. We like it most against pale walls and light floors, where the textured black draws a crisp vertical line, so stand it in a corner behind a low lounge chair and let the glow at the top sit well above your seating.
