Description

The Wilmslow is a 3.3m outdoor lamp post with a Victorian-style lantern head set on a cast aluminium column. The lantern features four clear glass panels within a black-painted frame, with a decorative ladder bar running vertically beneath the head. The finial-topped canopy and ornamental base casting give the post a period character suited to traditional driveways, garden pathways and courtyard entrances.

Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the Wilmslow carries an IP23 rating that protects the internal wiring and lamp holder from rain and moisture ingress at angles up to 60° from vertical. The post requires a concrete foundation or fixing plate to anchor it securely, and includes a hinged access door at the base for running mains cable from an underground conduit into the column. The E27 lamp holder accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose between warm-white LED, halogen, or traditional filament lamps depending on the light output needed.

The cast aluminium construction gives the post structural rigidity without the weight and corrosion issues of cast iron, and the black powder-coat finish resists weathering in UK outdoor conditions.
