Description

The Viora is a 2m black metal cover for Ideal Lux track lighting systems, designed to conceal exposed track sections and wiring once spotlights or pendants are installed. The cover clips onto the track profile to create a continuous line along the ceiling or wall, hiding the functional components behind a matt black metal finish.

Designed for commercial and residential track lighting installations where the track run exceeds 1m, the 2m length allows larger spaces to be covered with fewer joints. The cover suits retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen islands and corridors where multiple spotlights need to be mounted on a single track but the track itself should be visually minimised. The 16mm projection from the wall or ceiling keeps the overall installation depth compact.

The matt black finish matches the Viora track system and integrates with black ceiling details, exposed steelwork and contemporary industrial interiors. The metal construction protects the track from dust and surface marks, which helps maintain the appearance of the system over time in high-traffic environments.

What track system is this compatible with?

The Viora track cover is designed specifically for the Ideal Lux Viora track lighting system. It clips onto the track profile once the track is mounted and wired, and is not compatible with other manufacturers' track systems.

Can multiple covers be joined end-to-end?

Yes. Multiple 2m covers can be placed end-to-end to create longer continuous runs. The joins sit flush when aligned correctly, though a faint seam may be visible depending on installation precision and viewing angle.

Is the cover installed before or after the spotlights?

The cover is typically installed after the track is mounted and wired, but can be fitted either before or after spotlights are clipped onto the track. Some installers find it easier to clip the cover on first, then add spotlights.

Does the cover affect heat dissipation from the track?

No. The cover is designed to allow adequate ventilation around the track and spotlights. It conceals the track visually but does not create an enclosed channel that would trap heat from LED spotlights.
