Description

The Viora is a 300mm magnetic LED track light with an integrated 6W 3000K LED housed in an extruded aluminium body finished in matt black. The light module clips onto compatible magnetic track systems via embedded magnets, allowing it to be positioned, repositioned and removed without tools. The track itself can be surface-mounted to ceilings or recessed into plasterboard, depending on the installation kit used.

Designed for retail, gallery, kitchen and workspace applications where accent or task lighting needs to be reconfigured as layouts change, the Viora can be slid along the magnetic track and rotated to redirect the beam without cutting power. The 6W LED output is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer on the track circuit, allowing light levels to be adjusted from full output down to low ambient. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light suitable for product display, task lighting and general illumination.

The extruded aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently, maintaining LED lifespan and output stability. At 300mm length and 15mm projection from the track, the Viora sits close to the ceiling plane and works in rooms with ceiling heights as low as 2.2m without intruding into headspace. The matt black finish absorbs ceiling reflections and pairs with both industrial and contemporary interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments.

Is the Viora dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when the magnetic track system is wired to a compatible dimmer. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and the track power supply — consult the track system manufacturer or contact us for guidance before pairing with a dimmer.

What magnetic track system does it work with?

The Viora is designed for Ideal Lux magnetic track systems. The embedded magnets in the light module align with the conductive track rail, allowing the fitting to clip on, slide along the track, and rotate without tools. The track itself is sold separately and available in surface-mount and recessed versions.

Can the light be repositioned while the track is powered?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows the Viora to be slid along the track and rotated to redirect the beam while the track remains live. Always isolate the circuit before removing the light module entirely from the track.

What's the beam angle and lumen output?

Ideal Lux does not publish the exact beam angle and lumen output for the 6W Viora module in the standard specification. Typical 6W track modules in this category output 400-600 lumens with a medium flood beam between 30-60 degrees. Contact us if precise photometric data is required for a lighting design.
